She’s one of Hollywood’s biggest stars.

And Melissa McCarthy, 49, proved to court plenty of attention when she jetted into Byron Bay, Australia, for the TV series, Nine Perfect Strangers.

Comedy queen Melissa kept her look arthouse chic in a pink trench, mustard scarf and a pair of large, pink-rimmed glasses.

The actress wore minimal makeup while out and about with her daughter, Vivian Falcone, who joined her at the beachside tourist hub.

The mother and daughter duo were later seen at a bakery, eyeing off Australian meat pies (a pastry with mince or other savoury ingredients in it).

Vivian was later spotted getting her nails done at a nearby salon.

Nine Perfect Strangers is being brought to life by Oscar winner Nicole Kidman, with the $100 million production filmed in New South Wales, Australia.

On Saturday, Nicole said she ‘can’t wait’ to introduce viewers to the production, based on the 2018 novel by Big Little Lies author Liane Moriarty.

The 53-year-old shared a photo of herself and Liane enjoying a socially distant embrace to Instagram.

‘We can’t wait to introduce you to #NinePerfectStrangers #LianeMoriarty,’ Nicole wrote in the post’s caption.

In the photo, the pair were seated at a table and bumped elbows – the new ‘socially-distant’ hug.

The limited series is being produced by Nicole’s production company Blossom Films, alongside collaborators Bruna Papandrea and David E. Kelley.

Filming will begin on August 10 and will run for 19 weeks.

According to The Daily Telegraph last month, strict COVID-19 restrictions will be placed upon the production, which is set to take place at an ‘isolated production hub’ at Nicole and Keith Urban’s sprawling property in the NSW Southern Highlands.

Cast and crew members flying from overseas or interstate will be made to quarantine in a hotel for 14-days upon arrival into NSW.

Nicole and her fellow producers will also be responsible for paying all medical and security costs, The Daily Telegraph reports.

The Academy Award-winner told the publication that she’s ‘thrilled’ to be able to bring hundreds of jobs to the local industry.
