Married At First Sight’s Alex Garner debuts new girlfriend Jen McCann – two years after splitting from the mother of his child Zoe Hendrix
Married At First Sight‘s Alex Garner has found love again two years after announcing his split from Zoe Hendrix.
The single father, who shares four-year-old daughter Harper Rose with Zoe, debuted his new girlfriend last week by uploading an Instagram photo of the couple wearing matching face masks.
‘Iso with this lady ain’t so bad!!’ chirped Alex in the caption, adding the hashtag #earlymorningwalks and tagging Jen’s Instagram handle.

In the photo, a jubilant-looking Alex is seen with his arm slung over Jen’s shoulder as the pair smile behind their face coverings.
The post marks the first time Alex has publicly confirmed he’s found new love since splitting from Zoe in 2018.

Alex and Zoe found love in 2015 on the first season of Married At First Sight, and welcomed daughter Harper-Rose in November 2016.
The couple continue to co-parent their daughter Harper.

‘I was doing a lot more than I thought I would be doing,’ Zoe said, reflecting on her first few months of motherhood.
‘In hindsight, I have learned that you don’t know who you’ve married until you have a child.’
Zoe continued: ‘Sometimes it’s not what you agreed, and it’s not how you thought things were going to go.’

In January last year, Zoe spoke to NW magazine about their split, saying that raising a child as a single mother was ‘really hard’.
‘I mean motherhood is hard, so I think single motherhood takes a real adjustment. I’m giving myself time to adjust to it,’ she said.
When asked about her co-parenting arrangement with Alex, she added: ‘It’s hard having to deal with a break-up when you have to see them three times a week.
‘But we do put Harper first and we ensure she has everything she needs.’
