On Sunday night’s finale episode of Bachelor in Paradise, Ciarran Stott convinced Kiki Morris to quit the show and make a go of their romance off screen. 

But a notice aired on the show revealed that the pair had in fact split after few weeks and Ciarran, 26, had not spoken to Kiki, 32, since – leading fans online to accuse him of ‘ghosting’ the woman he had declared his love to only weeks before. 

On Sunday evening, Kiki set the record straight with an Instagram post explaining what really happened between her and the British ladies man after the cameras stopped rolling.

She shared a photo of the pair leaving paradise hand in hand, before revealing they actually tried to make their relationship work for two months. 

The reality star wrote at length: ‘What a roller coaster! I never expected Paradise to be easy but wow give this girl a break. 

‘I still believed everyone deserves the chance to learn from their mistakes and Ciarran and I left Paradise 100% committed to give our relationship a go in the outside world. We had an instant spark that grew into a real and deep connection.

‘Following Paradise, Ciarran moved to Sydney and for the most part of those two months things were really positive. It’s unfortunate our relationship didn’t work out the way we wanted, and we are no longer together.’ 

She went on to reveal she had no ill will towards the tattooed hunk, writing: ‘I wish him nothing but the best, and hope that he’s grown from this experience like I have. 

‘Always look forward and never look back! No Regrets (no, really). The experience was definitely worth it as I have a new understanding of myself and the real love story here is how proud I am of who I have become!’

‘They mean nothing to me,’ he said of the other contestants. ‘And you mean something to me – the whole world to me. 

‘I literally don’t care about anything else. But I am falling in love with you. I know I want to be with you and I don’t care about the commitment ceremony. I’ll get you my own commitment ring for you,’ he promised.   

Kiki did not take much convincing, although she continued having doubts about whether she could trust the British ladies’ man. 

‘I think it’s up to me now to make those decisions away from Paradise. And if things don’t work out, then it’s on me,’ she said, before they left the show together.
