James Charles goes casual in black as he meets friends for coffee and brunch in LA… after issuing apology to Alicia Keys

James Charles has recently found himself involved in yet another controversy, after shading Alicia Keys.

But the beauty vlogger doesn’t appear to be too fazed by the situation, recently stepping out with friends.

He went casual in black on Saturday, as he got his caffeine fix at Alfred Coffee, before grabbing brunch with his posse in Studio City.

He finished the look with a pair of silver earrings, matching bracelets and a black face mask.

Charles showed off his baby blue manicure, while holding up his iced coffee next to his friend’s drinks in a photo, writing: ‘White girls be like.’

He also took to his Instagram Story with a photo of bacon and avocado toast, as he and his crew enjoyed brunch.

The YouTuber previously served another glam look, posing for a selfie in a broken piece of mirror.

He wrote: ‘I accidentally broke a mirror during the moving process but somehow had good luck with this selfie.’

It comes after Charles took to social media with an apology, after subtweeting Alicia Keys over her lifestyle beauty brand.

He wrote in a note posted to Twitter: ‘Yesterday I posted a subtweet about how I thought some celebrities shouldn’t launch makeup lines. It was about @aliciakeys.

‘A few years ago, she announced that she no longer would wear makeup, so I was bothered because many celebrities come into the beauty space as a cash grab without any actual passion and then leave.

‘I deleted the tweet after a few mins because it’s childish to indirect tweet someone & I am not the gatekeeper of makeup.’
