The 54-year-old vocalist showed off his trim physique and extensive tattoo collection, while wearing a pair of camouflage swim trunks.

Gavin accessorized his look by placing a tie choker around his neck and a pair of black sunglasses on his face.
He carried his cellphone in his hand as he gave a friendly wave to fellow beachgoers.
Based on his damp hair, Rossdale cleared enjoyed a refreshing dip in the ocean water before walking along the shoreline.
Though he appeared to be enjoying his alone time on Saturday, Gavin is usually seen around Los Angeles with his beloved Pomeranian named Chewy by his side.

Gavin and his bandmates, lead guitarist Chris Traynor, bassist Corey Britz, and drummer Nik Hughes, released their album The Kingdom on July 17.
Two days prior to the album’s release, Rossdale revealed to People that it is his children – not his critics – who inspire him to write music worth listening to.
‘I don’t want them to play my records to their friends and say, “What happened to my dad?,”‘ he explained.
‘I want them to be like, “My dad’s on fire.” They inspire me because I want them to like what I do. They inspire me to be better.’

Gavin has three sons, Kingston, 14, Zuma, 11, and Apollo, 6, that he shares with ex wife and fellow musician Gwen Stefani, 50.
The former couple were married from 2002 until their divorce in 2016.
Gavin also has 31-year-old daughter Daisy Lowe, whom he shares with fashion designer Pearl Lowe, 50.

In his interview with People, Rossdale expressed pride over his eldest Kingston taking an interest in music and admitted that he has been exposing his son to his favorite punk rock groups.
‘We’re trying all these different bands along with bands from his generation. Young kids that are making music now, it’s cool, but I was like, “Why don’t we look at the beginning? See where it came from.”‘
Gavin described Kingston as being ‘just a joy’ because ‘when he’s playing guitar, all he wants to do is wear [Gavin’s] clothes.’
‘He comes out looking better than me, generally. Basically all three boys, all my kids, they’re just better versions of me. I gave them my strengths,’ concluded the singer.
