Taylor Swift’s boyfriend Joe Alwyn posts from their romantic Utah getaway

Joe Alwyn sent fans into a frenzy after he posted from his romantic Utah getaway with longtime girlfriend, Taylor Swift, on Thursday. 

While the solo snap of the hunky actor appeared to be a casual hiking picture, he purposefully chose to pose in front of a large body of water, just one day before the release of Swift’s highly-anticipated bonus track, The Lakes.  

The pair reportedly ‘just went to Park City, Utah for a few days,’ before returning to their quarantine in Los Angeles, according to E! News.

Remaining coy, the 29-year-old Harriet star kept his caption to just a mountain emoji. 

Immediately, the Cardigan singer hit the like button on his post, before allowing her latest song, about their three-year-trip to England’s scenic Lake District, speak to their private relationship. 

While the song is exclusive to the physical copies of her eighth studio album Folklore, the lyrics were published on Genius

According to the lyric analyzer site, she calls Alwyn her ‘muse’ and reflects on choosing not to publicize their relationship. 

‘A red rose grew up out of ice frozen ground/ With no one around to tweet it,’ she sings, nodding to her quieter presence on social media.

Last year, the ten-time Grammy winner told the Guardian her ‘relationship isn’t up for discussion.’

While the pop star’s British beau only appears in a few onscreen scenes, she revealed how Alwyn’s ‘wonderful, normal, balanced kind of life’ captured her eye and how his perspective helped foster their strong bond.

Despite entering the public eye together in baby steps, sources told People the actor has no interest in fame.

‘Joe loves acting but doesn’t want to be a celebrity. They both agree that, for their relationship to keep working, they want to keep things quieter,’ the source said. ‘She’s the happiest she’s ever been.’
