Phoebe Burgess dons a mask during a day out in Bowral – after she was criticised for forgetting to wear the facial covering in Sydney this week
Phoebe Burgess was recently spotted without a face mask on while out in Sydney – after telling her fans they should wear one.
But on Friday, the 31-year-old former footy WAG put a surgical mask on as she stepped out in the Southern Highlands town of Bowral, NSW, where her parents live.
The mother-of-two, who shares her children – daughter Poppy, three, and son Billy, one – with ex husband Sam Burgess, shared a short clip of herself walking in the rain.

Phoebe teamed her look with ripped blue jeans, adding a pair of black and white sneakers to the ensemble.
The newly-minted Instagram influencer wrote in the caption of her post: ‘Sup Bowral.’

But later in the day, she was seen in Sydney’s Double Bay without a mask, despite advocating the face covering amid the coronavirus crisis in the Instagram post.

It appeared that the former WAG failed to practice what she preached, as she embarked on the mask-free outing while clad in a chic double denim ensemble.
This comes after NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian issued a ‘strong recommendation’ for people to wear masks to avoid the spiralling coronavirus crisis which is currently plaguing Victoria.
Masks are mandatory in Victoria following a surge of COVID-19 cases, with Premier Daniel Andrews announcing a state of disaster on Sunday.
