He may be 45, but Karl Stefanovic is still in touch with the younger generation.
The Today show host revealed on Thursday that he enjoys watching Let’s Play videos – a form of entertainment associated with younger millennials and Generation Z.
Let’s Play videos, in which gamers upload or stream footage of themselves playing videogames, are usually found on platforms such as YouTube and Twitch.

Karl made the admission during a tech segment on the show.
A tech expert revealed the top phones on the market, with some allowing users to play Xbox on the gadgets, with Karl remarking that he was interested in hearing more about it.
‘What a time waster huh,’ his co-host Allison Langdon said.

He added about Let’s Play, that’s popular with Generation Z: ‘I spend a lot of time just watching people play games, just to try and get the tips and stuff.’
‘So I’m into that one.’
