‘I’m not into politics, at this point!’ Bachelor In Paradise host Osher Günsberg hints he wants to be ‘the next Prime Minister of Australia’

Bachelor In Paradise host Osher Günsberg has joked about turning to politics once his entertainment career comes to an end.

Speaking on the Wilosophy podcast, the 46-year-old spoke in-depth about how the current COVID-19 climate had transformed from the general public taking science-based expert advice to a culture war and special interests debate.

Osher then admitted: ‘I’m not into politics, at this point’ – leading the amused podcast host, Wil Anderson, to quiz him: ‘I’m not speaking to the next Prime Minister of Australia, am I?’

Wil continued to joke: ‘From hosting The Bachelor, The Bachelorette, and Bachelor in Paradise, to running the country!

‘If Trump can do it, you can do it – and you’d be much better at it than Trump!’

Osher responded: ‘I would like to think so!’

Suddenly inspired to run for Prime Minister in the future, Osher envisioned: ‘My first policy would be electoral reform.

‘I would say, “Vote for me, I would change the way we vote.”‘

Osher is currently on television screens hosting the new season of Bachelor In Paradise – which was filmed back in November.

Meanwhile, the TV personality recently revealed why he refuses to go shirtless on Instagram following his extreme body transformation.

Speaking to Body and Soul magazine last week, Osher joked that he is nowhere near as ripped as he was for that iconic 2018 shoot.

‘To maintain that level of body-fat percentage, my goodness me… that was hard to do. I enjoy eating too much,’ he lightheartedly told the publication.
