And Dua Lipa and Miley Cyrus have hinted that they are set to join forces on new music as they shared snaps of themselves in a recording studio alongside music producer Andrew Watt on Wednesday.

The thought of a possible collaboration between the New Rules hitmaker, 24, and the Wrecking Ball singer, 27, sent fans on Instagram wild, with one even commenting: ‘I think I died and this is heaven!’

The singers appeared in good spirits as they both shared snaps of themselves hanging out in the studio with Watt, who has collaborated with them both in the past. 

Dua, who shared three snaps of the trio on her social media, cut a stylish figure in an orange jean jacket and matching jeans as she larked around with her pals. 

And while the Break My Heart star didn’t give too much away with her caption of ‘bromance’, Miley certainly set tongues wagging with hers.

Sharing a similar snap on her own Instagram page, she wrote: ‘Dua has heard what you haven’t….’

The snaps of course led to fans speculating whether the Dua could be making an appearance on Miley’s upcoming seventh studio album. 

Taking to the comments, followers shared their excitement at a possible collaboration, with one writing: ‘WAAAIT LET ME BREATHE.’

While another question: ‘omg a collab??????’

A third overexcited fan said: ‘I think I died and this is heaven.’

Both Miley and Dua have got fans excited about new material over the past few days.

On Tuesday Miley gave fans a glimpse of what’s to come as she took to Instagram Live to tease some new music, serving neon disco vibes in a braless blinged-out look while jamming out to an unreleased bop. 

She donned a white tank top and a pair of avant-garde metal-framed sunglasses, as she dripped in jewels.

She panned up from her chest as the beat dropped, serving face with a glittery filter for the video, which she also posted to her story.

Miley was soaked in red and blue neon light, which decorated her recording studio with the word ‘DISCO.’

She previously shared a clip from her 2007 music video for Start All Over, writing: ‘Meet Miley Cyrus….. again. #SheIsComing #ButForRealThisTime’

The Hannah Montana star has been hard at work on her seventh studio album She Is Miley Cyrus, which is expected to drop sometime this year.

She released She Is Coming last May, the first of three six-song extended plays that will make up the album, the other two being She Is Here and She Is Everything.

Cyrus was expected to release the remaining EPs last year, but they were delayed when she underwent vocal cord surgery in November, following her hospitalization with tonsillitis.

Meanwhile, Dua shared the the new album artwork for her new remix album featuring none other than Madonna.

After Madonna, 61, initially shared the snap, Dua followed it up by confirming it with a tweet that explained more about the intriguing new release.

Dua wrote: ‘Club Future Nostalgia The Remix Album w the blessed Madonna coming August 21st – Levitating August 14th – featuring Missy Elliott & Madonna.’ She then added: ‘Physical ft. Gwen Stefani remixed by Mark Ronson. All Future Nostalgia tracks N then sum remixed by ur faves.’

While the Material Girl hitmaker also confirmed the song would be coming out on August 14.

‘Levitating is coming,’ she wrote. ‘Dua Lipa, Miss Elliot and Myself.’

She added ‘It’s so [fire],’ with multiple emojis of fire, ‘Aug. 14.’ The song was remixed by the Blessed Madonna, who is also shown in the photo.
