Bachelor In Paradise viewers slam Keira Maguire after she quits the show

Keira Maguire finally left Bachelor In Paradise on Tuesday, and her exit has certainly divided viewers.

After a controversial season that saw her feud with fan favourite Alisha Aitken-Radburn and enjoy an awkward fling with Alex McKay, many fans of the franchise are torn by her behaviour.

The 34-year-old has received a lot of backlash, with one viewer writing: ‘Is Keira delusional to walk away from that experience thinking she handled herself well?’

‘I can’t believe Keira even thought she’d find love on the island,’ wrote another.

‘She was clearly only added to the cast to stir up drama because of her horrid attitude,’ they added.

Despite the negativity, a lot of viewers admitted that they loved watching Keira’s pot stirring this season.

‘Producers must love Keira. She just oozes content constantly,’ remarked one.

‘Occasionally Keira’s villainous mask drops and I remember why I love her,’ added another.

On Tuesday’s episode of Bachelor In Paradise, Keira decided to quit the show – forcing love interest Alex to do the same.

The 34-year-old was upset when she learned that no more contestants would be arriving in Fiji.

And while Alex, 27, had given her his rose the night before, he’d also made it clear he was not romantically interested in the bubbly blonde.

‘Obviously we’ve talked a few times and there’s nothing there, so what’s the point of sticking around?’ she told him. ‘I gotta go for someone who can handle me.’

‘That’s it. Fair enough. If you want to go home, I’m more than happy to go home as well,’ Alex said.

‘It was just good to have someone, like, show interest in me from, like, day one. Like, it was sick.

‘I really did enjoy spending time with ya and obviously it just couldn’t build into anything further than that,’ he added.
