She’s the Australian model who rose to fame when she became ‘the Jeanswest girl’.

But Chloe Maxwell looked completely unrecognisable during an interview on Seven’s The Morning Show with her 14-year-old son Max, on Tuesday.

The 44-year-old showed off her new red hair as she discussed life after transitioning into a TV and radio presenter.

During the interview, Chloe told co-hosts Larry Emdur and Kylie Gillies she enjoyed working as a host for Channel V after her modelling career ended in 2001.

‘I was so lucky to work there. It was a great foundation for me to get into television because we had no scripts, everything was live and we did whatever we wanted to do and it was on television,’ she said.

‘We didn’t know if people were really watching or not a lot of the time,’ she added.

The model, who wrote her book Living with Max in 2012, also spoke about parenting her 14-year-old son Max, who is on the autism spectrum.

‘I should write a sequel because parenting a teenager on the autism spectrum is certainly different to parenting a younger child on the autism spectrum,’ she said.

She continued: ‘Maturing and stuff like that is a different obstacle to what I dealt with as a young child.’
