Lewis Hamilton catches the eye in quirky turquoise trousers as he steps out hours before his nail-biting win at the Formula 1 British Grand Prix

He’s just brought home the Formula 1 British Grand Prix trophy for the seventh time after a nail-biting finale.

And Lewis Hamilton looked ready for anything as he arrived at the Silverstone racecourse in a pair of turquoise harem pants on Sunday.

The flamboyant trousers were printed with red Chinese characters and the British racing driver, 35, continued the crimson theme with a red baseball cap and trainers.

Lewis wore a long-sleeved black sports top, bearing the logos of his various affiliations and sponsors, including the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team icon.

The racing champion shielded his eyes behind a pair of black sunglasses and put safety first by donning a reusable black face-mask.

The tattooed sportsman tied his shoulder length braids into a pony tail which he tucked through his baseball cap while several silver earrings added a touch of bling.

Lewis’ most recent win was his most dramatic yet, as his car suffered a flat tyre two laps before the finale.

Luckily he managed to stay on course and came first in the prestigious race once again, although the driver has been looking into expanding his musical career.

The F1 champion has hired Justin Bieber’s voice coach Jan Smith in a bid to conquer the music world.

‘I have no doubt his new music will resonate with the masses,’ said the 62-year-old coach, known as Mama Jan, who said she had even flown to Monaco to work on his voice between F1 training.

Lewis started playing guitar at 13 and set his sights on a music career while he was managed by Simon Fuller, the svengali behind the Spice Girls, from 2010 to 2014.
