On Sunday night, a Twitter user named @theadamsamuel suggested that Ciarran’s shocking haircut was actually a punishment because he was rude to staff at his local barbershop.
They tweeted: ‘Tidbit: Ciarran gets his hair cut at the same place I do and the barbers don’t have anything nice to say about him besides he’s a tool. I guess watching @BachelorInParadiseAU confirms that.’

While this ‘revenge haircut’ theory is certainly amusing, it appears to be false.
Far from being unpopular at his local barbershop in Fitzroy, the business proudly shared photos to Instagram of Ciarran’s fresh cut last week.

The former Army rifleman, 26, sat smiling in the salon chair as a hairdresser proudly captured him from every angle.
‘Aussie’s next Bachelor. @ciarranstott got himself a makeover and it FIRE,’ they wrote.
It comes after Ciarran was brutally trolled for his dramatic new look, with many fans saying he finally had a haircut to match his ‘repulsive’ personality.
‘I know it’s not all about looks but this guy is very unattractive. I do not see what everyone sees in him. Just watch Bachelor in Paradise to see what sort of morals he has (nil). Now that hair is just vile!’ one viewer commented on Facebook.

Despite being a fan favourite on last year’s season of The Bachelorette, viewers have turned on the reality star during his latest appearance on Bachelor in Paradise.
He has been blasted for his ‘possessive’ and ‘hypocritical’ behaviour on the show, after reacting angrily when his ex Renee Barrett went on a date with Matt Whyatt.
The Englishman has also been criticised for bed-hopping, having pursued Abbie Chatfield, Jessica Brody and Kiki Morris in quick succession.
