Latin pop darling Maria Pino keeps hips moving with the release of her vibrant new Así Mismo Es music video
Maria Pino hasn’t let quarantine slow her down.
The Miami-based Venezuelan singer was recently dubbed one of Billboard’s Latina artists to discover.
And now the stunning brunette is looking to amplify her honeyed voice and hip-moving style of Latin pop with her new track Así Mismo Es (Just Like That).
‘I like to make music that makes you dance. If you’re moving and grooving along to my music then I’ve accomplished my mission,’ Maria told DailyMail.com.
‘That’s the vibe that I grew up in down here in Miami. My family, we’re from Venezuela. We’re always dancing, we’re always celebrating, we’re always playing different kinds of music and I feel like that’s influenced me as an artist big time because I just want to celebrate.’
The brainy and beautiful Berklee College Of Music grad is upping the tempo with the sexy, colorful, dance-driven music video for Así Mismo Es.

Maria looks simply mesmerizing in the visuals for the sunkissed collaboration with Cuban singer Lenier. The clip starts with steamy closeups where she fans herself seductively before she flaunts her figure in fringe for some sultry dance sequences.
‘Growing up in Miami means I grew up with lots of colors. I grew up with lots of clashing ethnicities, lots of clashing ideas, and lots of clashing ideas in music. So what I feel like Así Mismo Es or just like that I wanted to explain what it feels like to me to listen to a song that is reggaeton.
‘The song starts out with like “Let the bass take over you and start dancing like I do.” And that’s kind of where the whole idea came from.’

While the dance floors are closed, Pino is perfecting the songs for her debut album, which is set for a 2021 release.
‘There’s a lot of planning there’s a lot of songwriting to do. I feel like this time has given me perspective and it has given me time to really think about what I want to do with my album. What I want to do with my music…
‘[Quarantine] gives you a different opportunity and a chance to challenge yourself and create differently, which I really like.’
