Adele shows off her seven stone weight loss as she supports pal Beyoncé’s visual album Black Is King

Adele celebrated her friend Beyoncé’s visual album Black Is King on Saturday.

The Rolling In The Deep songstress, 32, showed off her seven stone weight loss as she posed for a snap below her TV, where she was watching the singer, 38, perform in her Already music video.

Showing her supportive side, Adele made sure to match Beyoncé’s ensemble in the video by wearing a brown shirt that had a crescent moon print.

Adele completed her ensemble by wearing a pair of black leggings that highlighted her slender legs as she knelt for the photo.

Her luscious blonde locks were styled into loose curls that fell over her shoulders, and she embraced her natural beauty by going make-up free.

Gushing about Beyoncé’s latest release, Adele wrote in the caption: ‘Thank you Queen for always making us all feel so loved through your art.’

On Friday, Beyoncé released the official video for her song Already from Black Is King, which is based on and is a visual companion to her 2019 album The Lion King: The Gift.  

Beyoncé also released Deluxe Edition of her album The Lion King: The Gift, which features two new songs, Black Parade, which she released on Juneteenth, and a remix of Find Your Way Back with MELO-X.

Black Is King is inspired by music in The Lion King: The Gift, which, ‘reimagines the lessons of The Lion King for today’s young kings and queens in search of their own crowns,’ according to Disney.  

In the video, the iconic singer is seen wearing a brown onesie with several small crescent moons printed on it as she dancers with a number of backup dancers.

Already also features a number of shirtless male character sitting in a tree, covering their eyes, with teal body paint on their torsos, while a voice is heard asking, ‘Who are you?’

Another voice responds, ‘I know exactly who I am, the question is who are you?’ as the first voice says, ‘I’m nobody, so leave me alone,’ while we see footage of a number of different people covering their eyes.

‘Everybody is somebody, even a nobody,’ the second voice adds, as we see more footage of men with similar body paint and headdresses on.

The second voice asks the first to follow him and he will show him, as Beyoncé is seen clad in the same teal paint stripes all over her body before she gets into the song performance. 

Adele and Beyoncé have shared a close friendship for many years, with the former famously giving Bey an emotional shout-out when she won the Album Of The Year gong for 25 at the 2017 Grammys. 

She said: ‘I can’t possibly accept this award. I’m very humbled and very grateful and gracious but the artist of my life is Beyoncé.’

Adele has previously shared her love for Beyoncé on her social media before, as she previously share a photograph of her hugging a poster of the singer – when she released her visual album Lemonade in 2016 and added a gushing caption. 

She wrote: ‘I’m not late on this I’ve just been speechless. Beyoncé is the most inspiring person I’ve ever had the pleasure of worshipping. 

‘Her talent, beauty, grace and work ethic are all in a league of their own. I appreciate you so much! Thank god for Beyoncé X (sic).’ 

In April last year Adele revealed her undying love for Beyoncé while exchanging messages with a friend.

The Someone Like You singer was clearly looking forward to the star’s documentary, Homecoming, which goes behind-the-scenes of the Single Ladies star’s headline performance at Coachella in 2018.

Adele’s messages to her friend began with her asking: ‘Wait why do you think this is Beyoncé[?] Oh my dayyyyys.

Her friend responded: ‘It’s the same colours from the first show and the theme was black colleges. AND COZ I JUST FEEL IT.’ 

Referencing the documentary’s release date, a year after her Coachella show, they added: ‘She’s like, “yeah – I’ll drop it exactly a year later”. 

‘Tbh I have the whole show on my desktop and watch it whenever I’m feeling shit/at least once a month BUT I NEED THAT HD S**T.’

Adele is said to have lost a staggering seven stone due to a 1,000 calorie a day diet and upping her exercise. 

The star is reportedly in a good place both ‘physically and mentally’ following her dramatic weight loss.

Since unveiling her new look on her 32nd birthday, displaying her incredible lithe frame, the songstress has been showered with attention by fans and fellow celebs.  

The singer has become increasingly health-conscious over recent months and a source close to the star praised her disciplined approach to her own wellbeing.

An insider previously told E! News: ‘She goes to different gyms. She goes early in the morning and meets with her trainer.

‘She gets her workout in first thing. She works out for about an hour and leaves drenched in sweat and looking like she worked very hard.’  

Meanwhile, Adele and grime artist Skepta’s rumoured romance began last year, following the breakdown of her marriage with Simon Konecki. 

Adele split from Simon in April 2019, after seven years together. 

Skepta, real name Joseph Junior Adenuga, 37, was previously linked with supermodel Naomi Campbell, 49, back in 2018.  

In October, it had been claimed that Adele had taken her ‘whirlwind romance’ with Skepta to the next level by introducing him to her friends, including James Corden.  

The source told The Sun: ‘No one saw it coming but there’s a whirlwind romance going on between Adele and Skepta.

‘It’s been a bit of a brief fling so far… the fact Skepta has met Laura Dockrill and James seems like a positive sign. Everyone wants the best for both off them.’  

They also revealed Adele and Skepta, ‘care about each other very much as friends’. 

Adele and Laura became friends when they both attended the BRIT School and remained pals despite a fleeting falling out which inspired Adele’s track My Same.  

It is thought that Adele helped Skepta celebrate his 37th birthday at the Crystal Maze experience in London in September. 

A source revealed to The Sun at the time that the musicians have ‘been there for each other’ after their breakups and they have a ‘special connection.’

They added: ‘Some of their friends are hoping and predicting they could end up being a great couple one day, yhey are both private about their love lives and they are both committed to their children first and foremost as well.’ 

Adele shares a son called Angelo with her ex Simon, while Skepta became a father in November 2018.  

As one of the world’s leading singers, Adele boasts a net of £110 million, over 146 awards – including nine Brits, 15 Grammys and even an Academy Award. 

And while his reported flame continues to dominate the music industry, rapper Skepta is a successful artist in his own right – securing a reported net worth of £4 million, according to The Sun.

The MC first rose to fame as a founding member of grime collective Boy Better Know in 2006, and has since launched a fruitful solo career, with the hunk scooping Apple Music’s Best Album of 2016 prize with his fourth studio album Konnichiwa. 

Earlier this year, Grammy winner Adele officially filed for divorce from Simon, 46 – the only partner she’s gone public with during her career, and the following day she continued her legal process when she asked for joint physical and legal custody of their son Angelo, seven. 

And just four days after she filed for divorce, Simon agreed to her request for joint custody of their child, showing signs that their split will be amicable.

The duo originally announced their split last April. The Blast obtained documents pertaining to Adele’s situation, and reports that she ‘is willing to settle up on finances in mediation and have indicated they have worked out a custody arrangement.’
