Dylan and Cole Sprouse show their brotherly love with a hug after a night out in LA … as Cole returns to social media following a ‘much needed mental health break’

It was boys’ night out for Dylan and Cole Sprouse.

The 27-year-old twins were spotted hugging outside of a Los Angeles restaurant on Thursday night before going their separate ways following an al fresco dinner.

Their outing comes a few days after Cole returned to Instagram after a month long ‘mental health break.’

The Suite Life of Zack & Cody stars were twinning in more ways than one with each wearing outfits in matching all-black.

Dylan kept things ultra casual in a sleeveless shirt and slacks with a facemask slung under his chin.

His twin brother Cole sported a trendier look in a black button up shirt, a wide-brimmed black hat and bandanna around his neck with some black nail polish.

The Riverdale star is still rocking his affectionately mocked quarantine facial hair, which he covered with the bandanna when not eating, keeping in line with the current mandate to wear face coverings due to the coronavirus.

Earlier this week Cole returned to Instagram following a month-long break for his mental health.

The CW star had last shared an Instagram on June 26th but went radio silent after that until posting a black and white nature image from Tulum on July 28th.

‘Know I’ve been off of social media for a while,’ the actor captioned the snap to his 32 million followers.  ‘Decided to take a much needed mental health break.’

‘I’ve never been the most active user of social media, but even the minor amount I had been engaging during quarantine had become a bit too taxing,’ he continued.

Cole explained that his work is ‘slowly’ picking back up and he’s happy to be getting back into a routine.

‘Knowing when to step away like I did in college, and when to re-engage is a fundamental skill for any young performer,’ he sagely said. ‘Take your breaks. Mental and physical health always come first.’

Cole and his brother Dylan began acting at just eight-months-old and had starring roles in films like Big Daddy by the time they were seven.

They became full fledged child star with the success of their Disney show The Suite Life of Zack & Cody and the spin-off The Suite Life on Deck.

Both of the twins decided to take a step back from the limelight to attend New York University in 2011.

Dylan and Cole graduated together in 2015 with degrees in cideo game design and archaeology, respectively.

Cole ended his social media caption with a pivot to the current coronavirus pandemic, which he called ‘a massive global trauma’

‘The effects of which have, in no small way, been encouraged tremendously by the failings of the US,’ he penned. ‘We’re in the midst of a huge election, and I encourage everyone here in the United States to deeply consider our ‘modern’ medical health care system.’
