The Bachelorette: Sisters Elly and Becky Miles begin filming in Sydney

The Bachelorette EXCLUSIVE: Sisters Elly and Becky Miles look chilly in their cocktail dresses as they meet their suitors on the first day of production

The Bachelorette began filming its sixth season at the famous Bachelor mansion in Oxford Falls, Sydney, on Wednesday night.

Exclusive photos obtained by Daily Mail Australia show this year’s two Bachelorettes, sisters Elly and Becky Miles, meeting their suitors on the red carpet.

Both women wore glamorous cocktail dresses despite the chilly weather, as a team of staffers made sure the production met COVID-19 safety standards.

Younger sister Elly, 25, who placed fourth on Matt Agnew’s season of The Bachelor last year, wore a glittering gold dress for the first night of filming.

Meanwhile, 30-year-old Becky, a defence contracting specialist who has never appeared on reality TV before, looked stylish in a red frock.

The siblings met a variety of handsome suitors during the shoot, which went on until the early hours of the morning.

A common theme of the introductions was the men chivalrously handing over their jackets because Elly and Becky were so cold.

Several of of the men greeted both women at once, while others were seemingly only introduced to one of the sisters.

This may be because some suitors were cast with one sister in mind.

It’s unclear if the contestants were told ahead of time they would be greeting two Bachelorettes, as previous seasons have only ever had one lead.

More to come.
