‘I got sold the dream and I fell for it’: Married At First Sight’s KC Osborne finally reveals the REAL reason she split from Michael Goonan
Married At First Sight‘s KC Osborne called it quits on her relationship with co-star Michael Goonan earlier this month.
And the dancer, 31, revealed to WHO magazine that his failed promises of changing his ‘playboy’ ways was a factor in their break-up earlier this month.
‘He sold me that dream of, “I would stop my playboy ways to have a girl like you, you’re such a good girl,” she said.

She explained that he was making big promises of settling down and starting a family, which she desired and was her reason for applying for MAFS in the first place.
She said that after they’d split from their respective TV spouses, Drew Bauer and Stacey Hampton, she and Michael began to spend more time together and he eventually began to pursue her romantically.
KC said that Michael’s promises to her were ‘so full-on’, adding: ‘I’d never had a guy say that to me before. I got sold the dream and I fell for it.’

The couple dated for five months, but she announced their split earlier this month and moved out of their Melbourne home. She is now back in Sydney.
The brunette said it was best for them to go their separate ways for the time being, but wouldn’t rule out getting back together in the future.
While she has stayed in touch with her ex, KC believes he still needs to make important changes in his life.
‘If he does want to go out and be crazy, it’s just the way he deals with it and I know that he did love me at the end of the day. We all deal with things differently,’ she said.

KC announced her split from Michael on July 4, telling her Instagram followers: ‘It hurts my heart to write this.
‘It’s with sadness that I have chosen to end my relationship with Michael.’
She went on to explain that the pair had been together for almost five months, and that their time in lockdown in Melbourne ‘felt like a lifetime while isolating’.

KC added: ‘It’s not my place to talk personally about Michael; however, I do hope Michael makes some changes as I will always believe in his potential and wish blessings on his life.’
At the time, Michael told Daily Mail Australia he was a ‘workaholic’ and hadn’t been able to give ‘KC the time she deserves’.
‘Since the show finished I’ve been really focused on work and so much of my time has been heavily invested into my business,’ he added.
