Dave Chappelle is seen working with David Letterman in Ohio… after trying to help Kanye West in Wyoming

Dave Chappelle has been a busy man this month.

Last week the stand-up comedian was seen supporting Kanye West in Wyoming after his embarrassing rally as he attempts to run for President as well as his Twitter meltdown where he compared Kim Kardashian’s mother to Kim Jong-un.

And this week the 46-year-old Washington DC native was seen catching up with former late show king David Letterman in Yellow Springs, Ohio.

Just two comedians talking on a bench: Dave Chappelle was seen with David Letterman on a street this week as a fan shared the image

The two could have been shooting Letterman’s My Next Guest Needs No Introduction.

Or they could have been filming for Chappelle Summer Camp which has already attracted Erykah Badu, Common, Talib Kweli, Michael Che, Tiffany Haddish, DJ Trauma, Michelle Wolf, Donnell Rawlings, Cipha Sounds, Questlove, Jon Hamm, Mo Amer and Issa Ali.

Dave was in a black vest over a T-shirt with a silver necklace, adding Capri pants and white Bike sneakers in a photo shared by John Wehn who goes by OhioClaimYourGround.

Letterman looked slender in his light gray top, denim jeans and hiking shoes with a face mask dangling around his long, scraggly gray beard.

‘The one and only David Letterman on stag tonight. Shot with my non broken left arm.’

Letterman has led quite the career in comedy and late night, spanning nearly 50 years. The eight-time Emmy winner is spending quarantine with wife Regina Lasko, 59, and son Harry, 16, at their home in Westchester County in New York.

David recently opened up about parenting a teenager while the family is stuck at home together in isolation.

He told Howard Stern last month: ‘For me, it’s great because, since Harry started school, this is the most time I’ve been able to spend with him.

‘The first week of this video homeschooling (which by the way won’t work, but nonetheless is fun to try)…I see this giant figure walking through our kitchen, and I thought, “Holy crap, we’re being robbed.”

‘It was my son. But you’re just not used to seeing him on a Wednesday, shuffling through the kitchen.’

The former Late Show host continued: ‘God, I just love having him around. He’s just a goofball, and I love him. He’s very entertaining.

‘And I’m lucky enough. A lot of people are losing family members, and how do you calculate that grief? But I’m very lucky to have my family with me.’
