The Masked Singer Australia revealed the first clue about who is inside the wizard costume on Tuesday.
And fans are convinced they already know which famous face is under the disguise.
Sharing a video to Instagram, Channel 10 captioned a post: ‘Wizard is here with his first ever clue! Who’s under this magical mask?’

Guess who: On Tuesday, The Masked Singer Australia revealed the first clue about who is under the wizard costume, and fans are convinced that they already know which famous face is under the mask
The video footage begins with the wizard spinning around in a large robe with gold trimmings and a hat featuring plants and mushrooms on top of it.
An altered male voice then gives the first clue: ‘My childhood neighbours hated my singing voice, but who’s having the last laugh now?’
Fans are convinced that the celebrity under the hat is former Neighbours star, Jason Donovan.

Of course, the current Covid-19 travel restrictions would mean that it is unlikely the London-based singer could have made it to Australia to film.
But, it is interesting to note that he did make a trip to Melbourne earlier this year, which is where The Masked Singer is filmed.

Other Neighbours’ stars who have been suggested are Holly Vallance and Natalie Bassingthwaighte, who are both involved in the music industry.
Of course, the use of the word ‘neighbours’ in the clue could just be a red herring to mislead fans… I guess we will have to wait and see.
