Love Island’s Amy Hart shows off £100k teeth makeover

She was left feeling insecure and took breaks from social media after facing abuse from trolls who taunted her smile.

But Amy Hart looked the picture of confidence as she unveiled the results of her £100,000 teeth transformation by celebrity dentist Dr Richard Marques on Instagram on Wednesday.

The Love Island star, 27, who started to makeover in November, ensured all eyes were on her new veneers as she beamed while heading to a TV studio in west London.

Speaking from what appeared to be a hotel room on Tuesday evening, the media personality said: ‘So here is the final product of my teeth. I told Dr Richard when I was getting them that I wanted to still keep the character.

‘I didn’t want to look like I had a bright white mouth guard in and I wanted to widen my smile out. I think you can all agree it has happened, so thank you Dr Richard. My lip is still wonky from the anaesthetic.’

The ex-flight attendant later clarified she had altered both her top and bottom gnashers, after fans questioned whether she only had veneers on her six front teeth.

Amy said: ‘To everyone saying are you going to get your bottoms one done, I had them 10 years ago with my top ones. My top six are so big, that’s just the shape of my mouth so people don’t see it.’

The TV star later teased she had been working on a secret project which required her to ‘belt Cher at 3am every night for 10 days’.

The morning after, Amy cut a radiant figure as she sported a full face of make-up and had her curls held in place with hair separating clips.

Late last year, the blonde beauty detailed the abuse she had received online for her appearance.

She said: ‘It is something I have wanted for so long. I had my teeth done when I was 17 but now it is time to have them done properly.

‘Trolling abuse had died down lately but it has been really bad again since it was announced I will be on Celebs Go Dating.

‘I try not to read it but I would be lying if I say I didn’t look sometimes and it didn’t hurt.’

The media personality hit headlines before her Love Island stint when she revealed her grandparents funded her boob job.

The blonde had always suffered from low body confidence due to her 34A bust, but her dreams came true when she went up three cup sizes, and even competed in beauty pageants.

She told MailOnline back in 2014: ‘When I was 17 I had veneers for my teeth and they made me so much more confident and willing to smile I figured that it would be a similar story with my boobs.

‘I’m loving getting in to the pageant circuit – I would never have had the confidence before I had the surgery’.

Amy suffered a tumultuous time on the ITV2 dating series when she was unceremoniously dumped by ‘half boyfriend’ Curtis Pritchard, 24, when he developed feelings for other women during the Casa Amor segment of the show.

The former British Airways cabin crew member won the heart of the nation when she bowed out of the ITV2 reality series with a dignified speech after being one of the original Islanders.

Dancer Curtis went on to finish the show in fourth place alongside Irish grid girl Maura Higgins, 29, with the couple splitting earlier this year
