‘I had feelings for her that I’ve never felt for anyone ever!’ Jamie Doran professes his love for Helena Sauzier as he is eliminated from Bachelor In Paradise amid legal dramas

He was sent packing from the Bachelor In Paradise villa on Wednesday after failing to receive a rose during the elimination ceremony.

But before leaving the Fijian resort, Jamie Doran professed his love for former co-star Helena Sauzier.

After saying his goodbyes to the contestants, the 40-year-old said: ‘I just want to say that I think over the last 10 years, I’ve built some walls around myself and I let those walls down.’

‘I felt I came on Paradise and I opened myself up and had feelings for Helena that I’ve actually never felt for anyone ever in my life,’ he continued.

He added: ‘She gave me butterflies every morning when I saw her. I’m gonna go out there and I’m gonna find my own version of Helena. And that’s what I’m gonna take from this experience.’

Jamie also told producers he’s ‘happy to go home’ as he isn’t interested in pursuing a relationship with anyone in the villa.

‘I’m quite happy to go home.Gives me an epiphamy that I just want to pursue Helena. I don’t know if it’s replicated, but Helena is the girl for me,’ he said.

Niranga Amarasinghe and Chris Gilleland also failed to make connections and were sent packing.

Jamie’s elimination comes after he announced he’ll be taking legal action against Channel 10 and Warner Bros. over his negative portrayal on The Bachelorette and Bachelor In Paradise.

On Wednesday, the fireman shared a statement to Instagram, explaining why he had decided to call in his lawyers.

‘This is not the news I wanted to post, but I feel I owe this to at least my family, friends, and also fans of The Bachelorette and Bachelor in Paradise,’ his post began.

He continued: ‘After lengthy consideration, I’ve decided to begin legal proceedings against Network 10 and Warner Bros. Australia.

‘I’m not going to comment on this any further for the time being and would appreciate it if people would respect my privacy.’

In response to Jamie’s legal threat, a network spokesperson told Daily Mail Australia: ‘Channel 10 has not received any papers regarding this claim.’

Jamie has been portrayed as a ‘stage-five clinger’ on Bachelor in Paradise so far this season, and received a similar edit on The Bachelorette last year.
