The songstress, 24, was sure to smile through the pain as she underwent a resistance training regimen with a personal trainer.
Ella – who has previously admitting to struggling with extreme dieting in the past – seemed to enjoy the session, despite the PT working her hard.

The Tee was branded with ‘KYGO’ – a nod to the Norwegian DJ with whom she collaborated on 2015 track Here For You.
She added grey trainers to the look and swept her blonde mane into a sleek high ponytail.
Ella seemed to be in good spirits as she laughed along with her trainer, while he put her through her paces by making her undergo lunges, squats, planks and pull ups.

Ella found fame as one of Tulisa’s contestants on The X Factor 2012, being a firm favourite to win the series.
She was eliminated during a shock results show twist, with famous supporters such as Adele, Cher, Stephen Fry and Chloe Moretz declaring their admiration for her talent.

Despite initial solo success with her first album Chapter One, Ella dropped off the radar slightly between 2015 and last year, but has made a successful comeback over the past 12 months.
Across 2019 and 2020 she has featured on collaborations with music powerhouses such as Jax Jones, Sigala and Sam Feldt.
She was also featured on the multi-star relief single, Bridge Over Troubled Water, in 2017, in aid of the Grenfell Tower disaster.
The all-star rendition of Simon & Garfunkel’s track went straight to No1 and has helped to raise a significant amount of money for survivors and families.

She has spoken in the past about her refusal to be pressured into changing her body shape while in the spotlight.
She admitted that her experiences with extreme dieting in the past has influenced the way she treats herself.
She explained: ‘There is pressure out there on young women. You look around you, in magazines and you think, “Should I be skinny? Do I need to go on a diet?”
‘It’s easy to fall into that trap. Last year [in 2011] I was very body-conscious. I went completely the other way and I went underweight at a certain point.
‘I’m a normal-sized girl. I’ll never be a size zero, that’s just not going to happen but I’m simply going to be myself and I hope people will accept me for who I am.’
