‘How lucky am I that my dreams came true!’: Millie Mackintosh celebrates her 31st with baby Sienna

Millie Mackintosh kicked off her 31st birthday by cradling the most precious gift of all, her baby daughter Sienna.  

The Made in Chelsea took to Instagram on Sunday to share a heartfelt message of gratitude for the baby she wished for exactly a year ago today. 

First-time-mum Millie wrote: ‘On this day last year I wished for you, how lucky am I that my dreams came true.’

The actress ended her post with the hashtags #birthdaygirl and #thisis31 and signed off with a red love heart, much to the delight of her 1.4 million fans.

At the time of writing, the touching message had amassed 49,458 likes and been commented on by several of Millie’s celebrity pals including supermodel Jodie Kidd.

International star Jodie, 41, wrote: ‘Heart aches with love to you all. @milliemackintosh Love you baby.’

Millie’s favourite birthday present Sienna Grace was born by caesarean section on the 1st May, weighing in at a healthy seven pounds.

The tot is the first child to Millie and her husband Hugo Taylor, 34, whom she appeared with on E4’s BAFTA winning Made In Chelsea. 

Millie and Hugo tied the knot in June 2018 during a lavish ceremony held in Whithurst Park in West Sussex.

New mum Millie has spoken openly about the pressures of motherhood, from breastfeeding struggles to embracing her post-partum body.

On Friday, the author shared a candid insight into how she feels returning to work now her daughter is two months-old. 

Entrepreneur Millie posted a video of herself trying to juggle expressing milk and rocking Sienna to sleep while working on her laptop.

Millie admitted she feels ‘confused, overwhelmed and stressed’ as she tries to balance being a first-time mum with her various businesses.

Millie wrote: ‘Let’s talk about going back to work – I’m a bit confused, overwhelmed and sometimes stressed at the prospect of juggling work with motherhood right now. 

‘I’m aware how fortunate I am to be working at this time and to a certain extent can create my own flexibility around Sienna, but at the moment simple tasks take a lot longer and seem a lot harder, my brain has gone to mush!

‘The thought of having a game face on for important meetings or even replying to an email is one thing, then the guilt of not being next to Sienna ‪24/7 is a whole other.

‘Working as a parent isn’t easy, logistically, emotionally, financially and physically, I have so much respect for all the parents out there juggling work and raising children’.
