Married footballer Patrice Evra put on a very cosy display with a mystery woman in London on Friday.

The former Manchester United defender, 39, passionately kissed his blonde companion as they enjoyed an alfresco lunch at Little House in Mayfair.

Patrice, who married his wife Sandra in 2007, was pictured without his wedding ring for the lunch date.

Patrice certainly seemed very familiar with his acquaintance as he rested his hand on her derriere after she leant over for a kiss.

The lovebirds appeared in high spirits as they chatted and laughed over lunch before putting on a very public display of affection.

Patrice was casually-clad in a denim waistcoat and a T-shirt, while his mystery woman, who bore a strong resemblance to his wife Sandra, wore grey joggers and a white jumper.

She also wore a diamond band on her wedding finger.

After lunch, in which his female friend paid for the bill, the pair hopped in his his flashy sports car.

MailOnline has contacted Patrice’s representatives for comment.

Patrice has been plagued with cheating rumours during his 13-year marriage to Sandra.

They first met in high school and have been together since. The couple have two children together; daughter Moana, seven, and son Lenny.

Back in November, Made In Chelsea star Sam Thompson accused the former West Ham player for sending his girlfriend Zara McDermott direct messages on Instagram.

The Made In Chelsea star uploaded a video to his Instagram Stories, in which he complained about sportsman Patrice contacting the pretty brunette while he struggled to get attention from footballers.

Showing a sense of humour about the matter, the reality star said: ‘I’ve always dreamed of talking to footballers, but no one ever replies to me. The only way I can talk to them is through my girlfriend’s phone on the DMs.

‘We’ve got Patrice Evra on there who’s like a hero of mine and who I absolutely love.’

Meanwhile back in 2013, Playboy model Carla Howe claimed she slept with Evra while at his hotel room in Paris.

She claimed he had pursued her for three months but never told her he had a family.

He reportedly gave her 200 euros after their late night dalliance and said he had to go to training.

Carla told The Sun at the time: ‘He’d ring and text me every day. He acted like a boyfriend and never said he was married. He’d say, “You are beautiful” and “I must see you”.

‘I loved him and I thought we had something special. It was all lies. I feel terrible for his wife because he was talking to meand messaging me dozens of times a day for months.

‘He never once mentioned he was married, let alone had a child.’

During his stint as a footballer, Patrice served as captain for both West Ham and Manchester United.

He retired from the sport in July 2019 and now works as a coach and a Sky Sports pundit.

Playing primarily as a left-back, Patrice has participated in five major international tournaments for France: the 2008, 2012 and 2016 UEFA European Championships, winning a runners-up medal at Euro 2016; and both the 2010 and 2014 FIFA World Cups.

Ahead of the 2010 World Cup, Evra was named captain of the national team by manager Raymond Domenech.
