Khloé Kardashian jokingly took credit for her younger sister Kendall Jenner‘s massively successful modeling career, which began at just 14.
On Friday, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star shared a black and white photo of herself making silly faces with her supermodel sibling, who has graced more than a dozen international Vogue covers.
‘Everything she knows about modeling and perfect hair is clearly because of me!’ the 36-year-old reality vet cheekily quipped over Instagram. ‘You’re welcome!’

While the mother-of-one doesn’t strut the catwalks professionally, they are the tallest of their sisters, with both of them standing at 5’10.
The 24-year-old beauty has worked hard to prove her success beyond her family’s reality show, and even became 2018’s highest-paid model, after raking in a whopping $22.5 million through shows, shoots and campaigns.
According to Forbes, she edged out supermodel-turned-coding-advocate Karlie Kloss, who earned $13 million that year.

She first signed with Wilhelmina Models at 14, before pivoting with The Society Management, three years later, to bid a career in high fashion.
Nevertheless, Kendall’s start in modeling wasn’t easy, and the star was reportedly ‘bullied’ by her fellow models when she took part in her first runway shows.
During 2014’s New York Fashion Week, when Kendall was just 18 years old, she was said to have been ostracized.

A source at NYFW told In Touch Weekly: ‘The other models worked so hard to get a spot on the runway and didn’t think it was fair that she was there.
‘They started acting b****y. Some even put out their cigarettes in Kendall’s drink!’
Before making it big in the fashion world, Kendall revealed her struggle to be taken seriously by casting agents who knew her from Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

She said: ‘I want to be high fashion. I want to be taken seriously. People think that this [success] just came to me. But it didn’t. What I have has almost worked against me.’
She added: ‘People didn’t take me seriously as a model… I went on castings and some people weren’t feeling me because of my name. But it was great when people didn’t recognize me. I was like, ‘Thank you. Please don’t recognize me.”
Despite her difficult start in the industry, Kendall remained determined to break into modeling thanks to the strong ‘work ethic’ that was instilled in her by her parents Kris and Caitlyn Jenner.

Speaking to V magazine, in 2015, she said: ‘My parents taught me that work ethic is one of the most important keys in life, and I believe it.’
Since becoming a full-time model in 2014, Kendall has gone on to walk the runways for the likes of Marc Jacobs, Givenchy, Chanel and Fendi at New York, Milan, and Paris Fashion Weeks.

In 2018, she sparked controversy when she revealed she could be picky about the shows she would walk in during New York Fashion Week.
‘Since the beginning we’ve been super selective about what shows I would do,’ Kendall told LOVE magazine last August.
‘I was never one of those girls who would do like 30 shows a season or whatever the f**k those girls do. More power to ‘em.

‘But I had a million jobs, not only catwalks but everything else. The whole combination was very overwhelming and I started to freak out a little bit and needed to take a step back.’
These comments faced backlash from many models in the industry who thought Kendall was showing her privilege, in terms of finances, to be able to turn down jobs easily.
Kendall later responded to the backlash on Twitter, saying she was ‘misrepresented’ by the publication.
