Fighting fit: Greg Wallace, 55, raked in a staggering £1million last year after the collapse of his business empire in 2014

In 2014 Greg was forced to close his Wallace and Co restaurant in Putney, South West London and sell its parent company Wallace Cafes.

The closure came after the father-of-three closed Gregg’s Bar and Grill in Bermondsey, South London in August and his greengrocers, West Veg Ltd, collapsed in March.

Greg is married to Anne-Marie Sterpini, 33, who is 21 years his junior, and the couple share 14-month-old Sid.

The TV star has given himself a makeover in recent years after he changed his diet and started a fitness regime.

Greg, who fronts BBC show Inside The Factory, has been documenting his fitness journey on Instagram where he does live workouts from his garden.

And he is launching a £7-a-month programme which gives users access to ‘easy healthy recipes’, ‘exercise routines’ and ‘psychology tips’.

The website, ShowMe.Fit with Gregg Wallace, features home-cooked recipes devised by wife Anna and fitness routines by personal trainer Danny Rai.

But while the star often eats indulgent dinners on Masterchef, he makes sure to watch his intake away from the camera.

And following his impressive weight loss he often shows off his chiselled abs and toned physique on social media.

In a recent interview with Notebook magazine, he said: ‘It’s about weight loss and general fitness, but it’s not a diet. I have changed my habits for life.

‘I’ve lost 4 stone and there is no way right now I would eat a fry-up. I couldn’t tuck into a vindaloo like I used to, I just wouldn’t want it.

‘If I am going to eat pizza I make it myself. I still like a glass of wine or beer. But can you remember when you had your first puff of a cigarette, or first drink?

‘If we can convince ourselves beer, wine and tobacco taste OK, it’s far easier to convince your body that the apple, banana and glass of water are nice.

‘In the end you don’t feel like you want the bad stuff.’

Earlier this month, Gregg and his wife Anna appeared in their first joint TV interview since welcoming their son Sid.
