Lily Collins showcases her off-duty style as she enjoys idyllic horse ride

She’s one of Hollywood’s biggest stars and is known for her dazzling sartorial displays on the red carpet.

Yet, Lily Collins, 31, appeared to be enjoying the slower pace of life as she showcased her off-duty style horse riding in Santa Ynez, California.

The Tolkien star opted for double denim for her day out with Vino Vaqueros horseback riding, which she documented via her Instagram on Thursday.

The Inheritance actress sported an oversized lightwash denim shirt for the activity and teamed it with a pair of darker skinny jeans.

Lily left her brunette locks loose as she wandered through the sun-soaked terrain.

The Lancôme ambassador protected herself from the sunshine with a chic a straw fedora and a pair of circular shades.

Sharing two shots of her riding her horse , Lily playfully captioned the post: ‘On the range and out of range…’

The actress is currently dating Charlie McDowell and has spent lockdown with her beau and their pup Redford.

Lily’s dad is British rock star Phil Collins and her mother is his second wife Jill Tavelman to whom he was married from 1984 to 1996.

While Charlie is the son of actor Malcolm McDowell and actress Mary Steenburgen, who were married from 1980 to 1990. 

Earlier this week, Lily revealed via her Instagram that she had returned to work amid the ongoing COVID-19 crisis.

On Monday, she shared photos to her Instagram in which she is seen getting her makeup done on a set using social distancing protocols. 

Lily admitted that it was ‘surreal’ to be on set again but credited cosmetics brand Lancôme for being ‘cautious’ and ‘helping us do this safely’. 

‘The new normal is going to be very different from what we’re used to, but we’re all in it together — trying to make the most of it and continue being as careful as possible…,’ she wrote in the caption alongside the photos.
