Jackie ‘O’ Henderson blasts ‘stupid’ quarantine rules keeping her away from her daughter

Jackie ‘O’ Henderson blasts ‘stupid’ quarantine rules that mean he won’t be able to see her daughter for two weeks after filming The Masked Singer in Melbourne

Jackie ‘O’ Henderson is furious because she won’t be able see her daughter, Kitty, for two weeks when she gets back from filming The Masked Singer in Melbourne.

The 45-year-old revealed on The Kyle and Jackie O Show on Friday that she will have to self-isolate at home for two weeks once she returns to Sydney.

She explained that because she shares custody of Kitty, nine, with her ex-husband Lee, she is prohibited from seeing her daughter during her 14-day quarantine period.

Devastated: Jackie ‘O’ Henderson can’t see her nine-year-old daughter, Kitty, for two weeks when she get’s back from filming The Masked Singer in Melbourne

‘When I come back from doing The Masked Singer, I have to quarantine in my place for two weeks, right. It’s not hotel quarantine its just self-isolate,’ she explained.

‘The rules are really stupid. Kitty is my daughter and I cannot see Kitty because I have 50/50 custody of her so they see her as a visitor coming and going.

‘But if she lived with me 100 per cent of the time, that would be fine.’

The self-isolation measures were put in place for people entering NSW from Victoria after the southern state’s recent spike in cases.

Spending so much time away from her daughter will no doubt be tough for the single mother, who revealed earlier this month that she loved being able to broadcast from home because it meant spending more time with Kitty.

‘Honestly, I really enjoy being able to spend time with my daughter and I’ve never been able to do that in the morning with her,’ she said on her radio program.

Jackie will likely be self-isolating at her new home in the Sydney suburb of Woollahra.

She spent about $11million on the property after she and Lee sold their former marital home in Vaucluse for $6.675million in March.
