Chandler Powell shares a sweet birthday tribute to his wife Bindi Irwin as they celebrate her special day for the first time as a married couple
Chandler Powell proposed to Bindi Irwin on her 21st birthday last year.
And on Friday, the former professional wakeboarder shared a sweet tribute to mark his conservationist wife’s 22nd birthday.
Taking to Instagram, he shared several photos from their wedding day on March 25, and wrote in the caption: ‘For the first time ever as a married couple, happy birthday to my beautiful wife.’

The 23-year-old Florida native added: ‘This year has been nothing short of epic and you have handled everything thrown our way with courage and grace.
‘You inspire me to be a better person every day with how much love you have to give.
‘Thank you for making the world a better and brighter place. My best friend, my wife, my everything. I love you,’ along with a heart emoji.

Bindi was quick to respond to her husband’s message, commenting below the post: ‘My husband, my sunshine, my world. I love you today, tomorrow and forever.’
Chandler had proposed to his longtime girlfriend on her birthday last year, and the moment she said yes was captured by her younger brother Robert, who is a keen photographer.
Speaking about the engagement ring, Bindi told People last year: ‘Chandler chose the most perfect ring – it’s made from recycled rose gold and the gem is a lab grown 2.01-carat diamond.’

‘I love that its twisted band is nature inspired and scattered with diamonds. I have always dreamed of a vintage style ring as I’m quite traditional,’ she added.
Bindi birthday comes after a tough few months for the Irwins and their beloved Australia Zoo as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.
