Mum wows after doing a better DIY job cleaning her staircase than professionals

Mum banishes stubborn stains from her old staircase in MINUTES after being told by professional cleaners that they ‘would never come out’

  • An Australian woman has shared amazing transformation photos of a staircase
  • She was told when moving into the house that stair stains couldn’t be removed
  • The lady called on some professionals to clean it and they couldn’t do it
  • So she purchased the Bissell ProHeat 2X Revolution Pet carpet vacuum
  • It removed the stains in just a few minutes using the Bissell detergent

An Australian woman has banished stubborn marks from her staircase in minutes, despite being told by the professional cleaners that they were ‘permanently stained’.

The lady, who posted transformation pictures in the Mums Who Clean Facebook group, had paid for cleaners to remove discolouration from her grey carpet stairs – but they weren’t able to complete the job.

So she purchased a carpet cleaning vacuum to take on the challenge herself.

‘The dirty side of our stairs was done professionally. We were told the stains would never come out because the carpet is so old,’ she said.

‘But the clean side is going once over with the Bissell ProHeat 2X Revolution Pet carpet vacuum. What a difference! And the water that was sucked up… disgusting.’

The woman claimed the professionals also used a carpet vacuum but was not powerful enough.

The Bissell device is made to clean up ‘tough pet messes’ but has been known to also treat human-made stains in the house.

‘The system includes CleanShot pre-treater to remove spots and stains; the 2-in-1 Pet Upholstery Tool to remove pet hair, stains, and odours from upholstery; and an EZ Clean Brush Roll Cover to make maintenance of the machine easy,’ the website read.

She spent $520 on the Bissell cleaner and the carpet dried within 30 minutes.

Many of the other Facebook group members were stunned by the transformation and called on her to get a refund from the professionals.

‘Wow this is incredible. I’d be sending a photo to the “professionals” to show the difference,’ said one woman.

A third added: 'The exact same thing happened to me. I moved into a rental property and they told me the carpets were stained. But I've removed 90 per cent of the stains with my mother's Bissell' (pictured)

‘You should tell those cleaners to invest in a Bissell. They might get more jobs with one,’ said another.

The Bissell has been said to remove mud and food stains, rust, blood and wine from carpets, with others saying it worked better than anything ‘the professional cleaners have brought over’.
