A short clip featuring the joke aired before his scheduled interview.

‘I had an amicable break up, which people tell you it is a good thing,’ Jack’s joke began.

‘I’m here to tell you, it ain’t. The closest I’ve come to a relationship since though is Alexa. Lovely Alexa.

‘Stores and records everything you say so she can use it in the future, just like a real girlfriend.’

Cutting to Jack, Karl revealed that the joke had caused ‘a bit of friction’ before Allison added: ‘I’m not happy with you Jack.’

The comedian quickly defended the joke saying: ‘I’m only joking. It is in the title. It is a disclaimer.’

Of course, Allison’s comments were all meant in jest and the three enjoyed a good laugh during the segment.

In fact, the comedian loves Karl and Allison so much that he revealed he put them in his new comedy show.

‘You are in my show, in the Netflix show. When it comes out – the opening scene is me on the show with you two, so the whole show opens with you guys,’ he said.

I’m Only Joking is available on Netflix now.
