RHONY’s Sonja Morgan admits she had a lower facelift and next lift after wrapping latest season: ‘I needed a pick me up’
Real Housewives of New York star Sonja Morgan is being upfront and honest about the plastic surgery she’s had done.
While many celebrities go to great lengths to conceal their nips and tucks, Sonja, 56, has taken to her Instagram to explain all her recent work in great detail.
‘There’s been speculation around my fresh new look,’ Sonja began in her post on Monday. ‘I got a lower facelift and neck lift after wrapping Season 12.’

‘I just wanted to be rid of the wrinkling on my neck and the jowels that were starting to form. People thought I was nuts because it was so subtle. But not to me!’ she added.
Sonja revealed that she worked with top facial plastic surgeon named Dr Jacono for the procedure, saying: ‘It was a no-brainer – gravity had taken its toll, I was also exhausted and I needed a ‘pick me up’.
‘I entrusted my face to the best @drjacono and he hit it out of the park. He uses a method called deep plane which goes under the muscle so your skin is still attached. Your blood flows and your face stays vibrant and heals fast.’
Sonja first caused a stir at the beginning of July when she showed off her new look on Instagram.
At the time, fans began speculating whether she was using the app FaceTune or if she had undergone surgery, with one asking if she’d got herself a chin implant.
