Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban AVOID quarantine hotel after touch down in Sydney via private jet

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban have been given the celebrity treatment after returning to Australia from the US on Monday morning.

The couple, who flew to in Sydney from their home in Tennessee via private jet, have been given special permission by the NSW Government to avoid staying at a quarantine hotel for two weeks, Sunrise reports.

Unlike the vast majority of travellers, Nicole, 53, and Keith, 52, have reportedly been allowed to self-isolate inside their $6.5M Southern Highlands mansion for 14 days instead.

Since buying the property, Keith and Nicole installed an 18m swimming pool, new gym, full-sized tennis court and 250m grass mounds around the perimeter to block out prying eyes.

The couple’s arrival comes after Nicole was given the green light to film her new series Nine Perfect Strangers in Australia.

The production, based on the 2018 novel by Big Little Lies author Liane Moriarty, will reportedly inject $100M into the beleaguered local film industry by creating hundreds of jobs.

‘It is a great opportunity for me to give back to the community that nurtured me through so much of my career,’ she said.

The series will tell the story of nine stressed-out urbanites who escape to a wellness retreat run by Nicole’s character.

And as with Moriarty’s other novel adapted for the screen, what appears one way on the surface at the retreat is altogether different deep down.

Filming will begin on August 10 and will run for 19 weeks.
