On Sunday’s episode of MasterChef Australia: Back To Win, Laura Cassai was left weeping when she struggled with a challenge. 

With the final three contestants vying for a spot in the grand finale, the pressure was on, as guest chef Martin Benn tasked the chefs to replicate his toffee apple dish.

During the time semi-final challenge, Laura struggled to strip the layers for her apple, which was a critical ingredient needed for the dish before Emelia offered assistance.

‘Deep breaths,’ she said before she explained that Laura neede to shread the apple faster.

In a piece to camera, Laura explained: ‘I honestly can’t believe that we are all fighting for a spot in a finale, and the two most selfless people I know came over and stopped what they are doing.’
