Bachelor In Paradise’s Jake Ellis is spotted partying at ex-girlfriend Megan Marx’s birthday party

He may be currently looking for love on the latest season of Bachelor in Paradise. 

But Jake Ellis is doing little to quell swirling rumours that he’s rekindled romance with ex-girlfriend Megan Marx since leaving the show. 

Fans are convinced that the couple are back together after Jake was spotted partying with guests at Megan’s birthday party in Queensland on Saturday night. 

While Jake made no mention on social media about him attending the party, fellow Bachelor In Paradise contestant Niranga Amarasinghe seemingly gave his whereabouts away by uploading a photo of the pair partying together. 

‘Heart of gold this bloke [love-heart emoji]’ wrote Niranga next to a picture of the two hunks posing in unbuttoned shirts. 

Moments after uploading the image, Niranga tellingly shared another photo of himself and Megan at what appeared to be the same event.  

It’s the latest in a string of sightings which seemingly confirm Jake and Megan’s rekindled romance. 

Last Thursday night, Megan and Jake appeared to watch an episode of Bachelor In Paradise together with friends. 

Megan shared an Instagram video showing the same TV unit and lounge room as Jake was sitting in when he was tagged in a post by a friend. 

In May, the pair were also spotted out together on the Gold Coast.

In March last year, it was reported that Megan and Jake split for the THIRD time since they fell in love on Bachelor in Paradise in 2017. 

Model and influencer Megan confirmed the breakup on Instagram at the time. 

Responding to a follower who asked if she and Jake, 32, had parted ways, Megan simply responded: ‘Yes’.

Megan, who rose to fame on the 2016 season of The Bachelor, fell in love with former Bachelorette star Jake during the first series of Bachelor in Paradise.

But by the end of that show – which was filmed in late 2017 and aired the following year – the couple decided to go their separate ways. 

They called it quits partly because Megan planned to head overseas for work.

However, they had secretly reunited by the time the finale was broadcast on April 30. 

Their second breakup happened in August 2018, with Megan saying she would ‘always treasure’ the memories they shared on Bachelor in Paradise.

Meanwhile, Jake admitted at the time that he hoped the couple could one day ‘rekindle [their] special love and come back together’.

Jake got his wish, as the pair had reunited by November. 

‘[He] never stopped fighting for Megan, he never gave up. He was certain she was “The One”,’ mutual friend Elora Murger said at the time.

‘He got his life back in order, she found herself again and he came back for her and took her on a beautiful first date and seduced her all over again.’
