Ashley Benson rocks a flannel shirt and distressed shorts as she grabs lunch with a male pal

Earlier in the day, she announced the passing of her ‘sweet papa’ to her nearly 22million followers on Instagram.

But despite the heavy news, Ashley Benson appeared in high spirits on Saturday as she enjoyed lunch outdoors with a male pal in Los Feliz. 

The 30-year-old Pretty Little Liars star sported a pair of high-waisted distressed denim shorts and a flannel shirt for her afternoon outing.

Ashley layered the oversized button up over a black bandeau top that matched her platform combat boots.

A pair of pink socks poked out from her boots and she had a small, black purse with gold detailing slung across her body. 

Her bright blonde hair was styled in waves and she wore a black bandana as a stylish headband.

Upon arriving to the trendy cafe, Benson concealed the majority of her famous face beneath a cloth mask and behind a pair of RayBan shades.

But once her and her male friend were seated at their table outside, she removed the mask from her face. 

The pair appeared to be having a great time and their chowed down and conversed across from one another. 

After devouring their delicious meal, Ashley and her friend grabbed drinks to-go and headed back to their parked vehicle.  

In her Instagram post paying tribute to her late grandfather, the actress wrote: ‘I love you my sweet papa. I’ll miss you dearly.’

She also included a throwback photo of herself sitting on her grandfather’s shoulders as a toddler.

In the sweet portrait, baby Ashley sported a huge smile and had her blonde hair in pigtails.

She did not explicitly list her late grandfather’s name, nor did she reveal whether was on her father or mother’s side of the family. 

Thankfully for Benson, she has her rapper boyfriend G-Eazy, 31, to lean on as they continue to spend time with one another amid the pandemic. 

Earlier this week, Ashley’s ex girlfriend Cara Delevingne, 27, was spotted getting handy with Kaia Gerber, 18, during a Black Lives Matter protest in Downtown Los Angeles.

Ashley and Cara ended their relationship in early May, after having spent nearly two-years together. 

Soon after ending her relationship, Ashley was spotted packing on the PDA with G-Eazy.
