She recently admitted she’d become a ‘chunk’ after living unhealthily in lockdown.

The soap star was a vision in a plum co-ord as she joined best friend Lee Bennett for dinner and drinks at BLVD.

Katie put her tanned and toned pins on display in a plum mini skirt, whilst she boosted her frame with white heeled boots.

The actress teamed the garments with a fitted black top and purple blazer, toting a Saint Laurent clutch bag.

Katie completed the look by styling her platinum blonde locks in a ponytail and accessorising with black bedazzled earrings.

Katie’s outing came after she admitted that she’d been working to get her fitness levels back up after letting things slip in lockdown.

Admitting she’d been ‘comfort eating’ during the first few weeks, Katie told The Sun: ‘I tried to stop that and focus on my fitness, but I don’t think I’ve come out a hunk… I’d say I was a chunk and now I’m getting back to normal.

‘I’m definitely not a drunk. I’ve drunk about twice in lockdown.’

The former soap star added that she’d be open to gaining or losing weight to adhere to an acting role, and is now determined to get back to her goal weight.

Katie also said that she’d be open to reprising her role as Sinead on Coronation Street, even if it meant appearing from beyond the grave.

She added: ‘You never know. Soaps have done it in the past. I would love to do it. It would be nice.’
