The broadcaster added height to her frame with a pair of heels while she carried a cream handbag.

Letting her blonde locks fall loose down her shoulders, Charlotte looked in good spirits as she geared up to present her show.

Charlotte has been working at Classic FM since 2018 while she first joined the team at Good Morning Britain in 2014.

It comes after Charlotte admitted it would be ‘really hard’ to send her five-year-old daughter Ella back to school after Boris Johnson first announced that primary schools would be opening on June 1.

Speaking ahead of the return, she said: ‘My daughter’s going back next week and I’ve had to explain to her, “You’re not going to be necessarily with all your friends, you’ll be in a group of 15 and you can’t go and see the others even if you want to.”

‘She said: “I’ll wave from a distance”.

‘But it’s really hard – you put them in a room together, they haven’t seen their friends in two months.’

Co-host Ben Shephard, 45, said: ‘You know what we’re like – a nightmare!’

And Charlotte replied: ‘Two meters away at all times, obviously.’
