Meghan King declares she’s ditched her married name amid ongoing divorce battle with Jim Edmonds

She’s locked in a divorce battle with her estranged husband Jim Edmonds.

And on Tuesday, former Real Housewives of Orange County star Meghan King declared via Instagram that she has ditched her married name.

‘Please allow me to reintroduce myself,” she wrote in a colorful post to her Instagram Story, adding: ‘Damn it feels good to be back on my throne.’

Meghan was married to Jim from 2014 until their split in October 2019.

They have three children together – two-year-old twin sons Hart and Hayes and three-year-old daughter Aspen.

Last week, it was reported that the ex-reality star has asked her estranged husband to pay her an extra $1 million during their ongoing divorce proceedings in exchanged for ‘signing a non-disclosure agreement.’  

This represents an amount ’10x higher than what was agreed to in the prenuptial agreement’ with the 50-year-old former MLB star, according to sources for The Blast. 

The comments were made during court mediation in the couple’s divorce proceedings, as part of an effort to stop the case heading to trial, according to The Blast.  

The NDA allegedly proposed by Meghan would prevent her talking about the couple’s six-year-long marriage. 

At one point during the mediation, the reality TV star ‘allegedly referenced possibly writing a Tell-All about her life;’ Mediation between the parties is ongoing. 

Both Meghan and Jim have moved on to new relationships. 

Meghan is dating Christian Schauf and Jim is dating Kortnie O’Connor.
