MasterChef’s Emelia Jackson looks unrecognisable in throwback photo with Callum Hann

She became the first contestant to land a spot in the MasterChef: Back to Win semi final on Monday.

And on Tuesday, Emelia Jackson gave fans a glimpse of her earlier years as a 22-year-old on Instagram.

The chef, 30, looked completely unrecognisable as she posed alongside her co-star Callum Hann, who appeared on season two of the show.

In the photo, Emelia flaunted darker locks while smiling alongside a younger Callum after his appearance on the cooking program in 2010.

‘That time I ran into this legend in a bar a good 10 years ago now, Oh how far we’ve come Cal,’ she wrote.

Emelia, who appeared on season six of MasterChef in 2014, went on to say: ‘Season two of MasterChef was my all time favourite and Callum was an absolute idol.’

‘Honoured to have spent the last five months with you,’ she said.

Callum and Emilia have made it to the final four on the all stars MasterChef: Back to Win with Reynold Poernomo and Laura Sharrad.

On Tuesday, their former co-stars revealed to Popsugar who they believe will win the competition – and the $250,000 prize – during the grand finale next week. 

Dani, who was the fourth cook to be eliminated from the series, said that Reynold deserved to win because he inspired everyone in the kitchen to lift their game.

Tessa added he was an ‘incredible’ chef and ‘absolutely’ deserved to take the crown this year.

Meanwhile, Ben Milbourne, Simon Toohey and Sarah Tiong are backing ‘underdog’ Callum to win.

Reece Hignell, who was eliminated from MasterChef on Sunday, told The Project on Monday that he was backing Emilia to win. 

‘I’ve decided that I want Emelia to win and I have a very strong reason why,’ he said. 

‘I have a cake business, she has a cake business, so if she wins I can claim that as a win for a cake maker as well!’
