Abbie Chatfield’s manager bizarrely claims she ISN’T on Bachelor in Paradise this season – despite being pictured flying back from Fiji and promoting the show on Instagram
Abbie Chatfield will not be appearing on Bachelor in Paradise this season, her manager has bizarrely claimed, despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary.
Breakfast radio host Jackie ‘O’ Henderson revealed on air on Wednesday that Abbie’s agent had told KIIS FM producers his client would not be taking part in the series.
‘Abbie’s manager has told our producers off-the-air that Abbie is not on the show,’ Jackie said while interviewing Bachelor in Paradise contestant Timm Hanly. ‘And as far as they know they’re just using her for promos, but she’s not in it.’

A puzzled Timm replied: ‘I’m pretty sure I was there and I’m pretty sure I saw Abbie there… I don’t know if I was imagining things or not, but I’m sure I saw her there.’
Kyle Sandilands proceeded to speculate that Abbie may not have told her managers that she’d appeared on the show, which began filming in November last year.
‘Maybe Abbie’s made a side-deal… maybe her manager didn’t even know she went to the island,’ Kyle mused.

‘Just keep all the coin for herself!’ laughed Timm.
Abbie has appeared in several trailers for the upcoming season, including one which pictures her striding confidently into the show’s famous Mango Bay resort.
‘I came here for Ciarran,’ Abbie declared as footage of her striding towards the resort plays.

‘He’s hot and he’s such a naughty boy. He’s mine… I’m going to get him!’ she adds.
She also appears on Channel 10’s official Bachelor In Paradise website as a contestant this season.
Abbie has also spoken extensively to the media about her upcoming appearance on the show.

Just last month, she admitted she’s worried about being portrayed as a ‘sexy villain’ on the reality show.
‘I already am worried about how the edits are going to go,’ she told New Idea magazine.
‘I think when you’re on TV, you’re a one-dimensional character. And my character [on The Bachelor] was overtly sexual and confident, and to a lot of people that equals b***h,’ she added.

Abbie was even pictured catching a flight to Fiji at Brisbane Airport on November 3rd ahead of filming the show.
On November 13, she was pictured returning to Brisbane Airport from Fiji looking rather downcast.
Depending on when filming in Fiji began for the third season of Paradise, it’s likely Abbie lasted less than 10 days on the dating franchise’s spin-off series.
Daily Mail Australia has reached out to Channel 10 and Abbie’s management for comment.
