‘I can’t have negativity’: MasterChef star Laura Sharrad emotionally breaks down in tears as she says she will ‘crumble’ under the pressure
MasterChef star Laura Sharrad had a mini-meltdown while speaking about negativity in the competition on Sunday night.
The 25-year-old couldn’t contain her emotions as she prepared her lamb rack for six guest chef judges while speaking to Jock Zonfrillo.
‘I can’t have negativity. Otherwise I’ll crumble,’ admitting she was nervous at this stage of the competition.

She went on to explain while she looks calm on the outside, she was actually really struggling with the pressure of the competition.
‘On the outside, I look really calm. But I am, like, inside, so scared. Like, the thought of going home on something..like, a dish like this,’ she said.
She continued ‘That is so simple in its nature, I think would defeat me and I won’t have my goal to, you know, do one better, and to make the finale and to win.’
Laura then spoke of the pressure: ‘I’m cooking for my spot in this competition. Um, I know how to cook. Like, this is what I do every day.’
She added:’I just need to do it well. People say that winning isn’t all, but…I don’t know, I just have so much to prove.’
