Actress Abi Tucker reemerges with a whole new look as she returns to TV almost three decades after shooting to fame on Heartbreak High

She shot to fame as Jodie Cooper on the classic teen drama Heartbreak High.

And on Friday, Abi Tucker appeared on Today Extra to discuss a possible reboot of the iconic ABC series.

With more than 25 years passing since she first appeared on the show, the 47-year-old actress now looks much different than her famous character.

Instead of her long blonde hair, Abi now sports a stylish short brunette bob cut.

However, some things never change, with the actress still sporting the signature dark eye makeup that her character was known for.

Abi starred on Heartbreak High’s first three seasons before leaving to focus on her music career.

After recording music in London, Abi returned to Australia to continue acting, and eventually made a huge comeback with a role in the blockbuster comedy The Wog Boy.

Her career continued to go from strength to strength after she joined The Secret Life of Us in 2001 for three seasons.

She enjoyed more success in the years to come with a major role on McLeod’s Daughters.

Abi now works as a presenter on Play School, which she’s done since 2009.

While talk of a Heartbreak High reboot is currently happening, Abi could also potentially return to TV in a The Secret Life of Us reboot.

Back in March, Claudia Karvan, who starred on the Channel 10 series, said that she’d love to see a reboot of the drama.

‘The show was really refreshing, so honest and direct. It was a bit of a ground-breaker,’ she told the Daily Telegraph.
