Stacey Solomon blushes during interview with Louis Theroux after revealing he’s her crush

Stacey Solomon was stitched-up by the Loose Women panel on Thursday after they revealed to Louis Theroux she had a crush on him. 

Before the interview, Christine Lampard aired last Friday’s installment, where the presenter revealed to the documentary maker Stacey was rather fond of him.

Stacey, 30, was left squirming in her seat as she re-watched the clip before gushing she usually works on Friday’s but joined the panel just to see him.  

Stacey previously said about 50-year-old Louis: ‘There’s just something about him… he’s that little geeky, chic…’

‘He’s really funny as well, and can manage to just talk with everybody through all walk of life and get what he wants,’ Christine added. 

Stacey continued: ‘He also is quite silly. I don’t know if you’ve ever watched any of his documentaries but in some of them, he gets drunk with them or he’s like “Oh, so what are we doing here?” and I think “Oooh…”.’ 

After watching back the clip, the presenter quickly told him: ‘Don’t be alarmed Louis!

‘I usually work on Fridays and I’ve come in today just to see you.’

Louis remained unabashed and made light of the crush. He said: ‘Should I feel grateful that were socially distanced?’, before adding ‘it’s lovely to meet you.’

After the interview, Christine asked the film-maker: ‘When you are allowed to come in and Stacey can give you a proper cuddle will you please do that?’

Stacey is in a relationship with Joe Swash and they have a son, Rex, one. 

The presenter also has two sons, Zachary, 12, and Leighton, 8, from previous relationships.

Louis, meanwhile, is married to Nancy Strang, his second wife. 

The BAFTA award-winning filmmaker has three sons Albert, 14, Frederick, 11, and Walter, four.
