Love Island’s Paige Turley shows off her new hair transformation as she enjoys first trip to salon

Love Island‘s Paige Turley showed off her new hair transformation on Thursday as she enjoyed her first trip to the salon after lockdown restrictions were eased.

The Scottish singer, 22, looked sensational as she unveiled her luscious blonde locks at Beauty Cutie Salon in Wilmslow, Cheshire, following her five-hour long pampering session. 

Paige posted her salon visit to her Instagram page, where she shared before and after pictures of her hair.

The ex-girlfriend of Lewis Capaldi revealed that she was dyeing her locks a peroxide blonde colour and having long extensions fitted. 

Paige couldn’t resist showing off her hair transformation after the salon visit, which also included a curly blow-dry, as she joked that she felt like a ‘new woman’.

The Love Island 2020 winner looked stylish for her day out in a beige crop top and matching high-waisted combat trousers.

Adding some luxury details, Paige teamed the look with a black cropped leather jacket, faux-fur handbag and £130 designer Comme des Garçons Converse trainers.

Hair salons were allowed to reopen on Saturday July 4 after three months in lockdown due to the COVID-19 crisis, they must follow strict guidelines such as stylists wearing protective visors.

In January, Paige and her boyfriend Finn Tapp became the first ever winners of the Winter edition of Love Island and have gone from strength-to-strength since.   

But Finn recently admitted that he had multiple ‘tiffs’ with producers in relation to how his behaviour in Casa Amor was portrayed.

The footballer also revealed that his ‘weird’ first date with singer Paige was filmed in silence while another first date was filmed alongside them.

Speaking to Raj & Pilar on BBC Radio 1’s The Reality Tea Podcast he said: ‘I didn’t really think about the cameras and everything until I got on that date. And then that’s when you’re like, whoa, like that was weird.

‘Cause there were two dates going on, so I think obviously that Connagh G, he was doing a date at the same time. 

‘So with the way the cameras and the recording is, they would shoot sort of like one date whilst you had to sort of sit in silence because obviously they could only capture one date.

‘So like my first meeting with Paige, we just sort of sat in silence. Staring at each other. Like we were just sat there and I was like trying to like graft Paige, but I couldn’t. I was just stood there. I was sat there. I was just like in silence. 

‘So we just, we just sat. Yeah, I was, I was. I was like, what do I say to her? What do I compliment? Compliment this and I’ll do that.

‘And then obviously that just – and then they sort of say, “Right, Finn and Paige, so now it’s your date,” and then you go.’
