The Apprentice-turned-Celebrity MasterChef star Thomas Skinner is engaged.

The reality personality, 29, has proposed to his girlfriend Sinead Chambers – just three months after he announced they were having a baby.

Thomas – who was in the first batch of celebs on the current series of MasterChef and made it through to the semi-finals – popped the question during their first date night, post-lockdown.

Bosh! The Apprentice-turned-Celebrity MasterChef star Thomas Skinner is engaged to his girlfriend Sinead Chambers – just three months after he announced they were having a baby

‘I’ve just got down on one knee. To ask the love of my life to Marry me. MY MUMMY TO BE SAID YES!!’ he announced.

Ahead of the news, he snapped a photo of himself getting his hair cut and then filmed himself in the back of a blue chauffeur-driven Rolls Royce – with the number plate ‘F4TSO’ – with Sinead.

‘We’re gonna have a proper booze up, night out, live it large!’ he declared, before realising Sinead can’t indulged due to her condition.

In April, he and his other half revealed they were set to welcome their first child together.

The Romford-native has joked that it was his intention to fail the weekly tasks, but said he enjoyed his time on the show.

Speaking to MailOnline at the time, he said: ‘Look, I enjoyed myself. Those other people on the show, they’re fantastic people.

‘I am still in touch with basically all of them. And I’d want to help them in every way that I can in the future. They really deserve to be there.’

Thomas was a fan-favourite on the show, and while he lost his tasks he stepped in to help winner Carina Lepore launch her bakery business during the finale, in one final push to become Lord Sugar’s new business investment.

Thomas felt he’d found a kindred spirit in the form of Lord Sugar, despite eventually being fired just a couple of weeks before the final.

‘He was my mate in that boardroom. I’d become friends with him in there by that point,’ he said.

Speaking fondly of the businessman, Thomas went on: ‘He knew I’d be okay when he fired me. And the stuff he said when he did it – it was emotional for me. Having a man I look up to say stuff like that – it really touched my heart.’
