They were both on Pete Weber’s season of The Bachelor before the pilot broke up with both of them. He has since moved on to Kelley Flanagan.

And following their respective breakups, winner Hannah Ann Sluss and runner-up Madison Prewett have proved their friendship is stronger than ever. 

The reality TV stars took to social media on Tuesday evening to reveal they were having a sweet picnic date together.

‘On a date.. kinda nervous,’ Madison captioned on Instagram. 

Madison stunned in a coral colored T-shirt and a pair of denim shorts. Her brunette tresses was styled out and she appeared in high spirits. 

Hannah dressed very similarly but rather sported a black tank top that was cropped.

The pair enjoyed a picnic on a hill with takeaway food and watched the sun set behind them. 

And the night didn’t end there, with the pair returning back to Hannah’s home to bake some desserts.

Ever since Madison’s rise to fame on the reality dating show, she has made some high profile friends, including Selena Gomez. 

The duo surprised fans earlier in the year when they were spotted shopping at Target together.  

The 23-year-old told Us Weekly last month that it was ‘faith’ that brought them together.

‘[Faith] is something that is just a really big part of our friendship,’ she dished. 

‘I’m very selective with who I allow to really, like, get really, really close to me.’ 

She continued: ‘And with those that I really invite into that space, it’s really important to me that we’re pushing each other and encouraging each other in our faith, and just being there for each other on the good days, the bad days and encouraging and praying for each other along the way.’

Madison’s confessions surrounding her friendship comes after she was spotted with Selena at the beginning of lockdown. 

The pair enjoyed an outing with friends to Target in Los Angeles to pick up some board games.  

When the Rare singer asked the Alabama-born reality star what game she wanted, she smiled and shrugged: ‘Ummm, honestly, everything. Everything looks great.’

Hours before she was seen hanging out with Selena, it was announced that Madison had split from Bachelor, Pete Weber. 

The foster parent recruiter was the runner-up to Hannah Ann Sluss, but the pilot rekindled his love with Madison shortly after.

‘As Peter and I have decided to go our separate ways, I am confident that we will both move in the direction of our purpose and never forget that God has a plan in all things,’ Madison wrote to her 1.8M Instagram followers. 

‘I will always love and respect him. I am convinced our paths were meant to cross and we are both better because they did. @pilot_pete you are an amazing guy and I’m thankful for you. I will always be your biggest fan.’ 

Pete is now dating a third contestant, Kelley Flanagan. The pair recently made their romance Instagram official and have been isolating together.
