Boy George reveals what he really thinks of his fellow judges on The Voice

Boy George has revealed he uses astrology to give him an advantage on The Voice.

The pop star, 59, told 9Now on Monday that he gets some help from the cosmos when it comes to dealing with Delta Goodrem, Guy Sebastian and Kelly Rowland.

Delta’s star sign is Taurus, which means George knows she is ‘practical and emotional’ but also ‘highly stubborn’.

‘If you look up the word stubborn in the dictionary, there’s a picture of Delta looking gorgeous,’ he said with a laugh.

Former Australian Idol winner Guy is a Scorpio, which makes him ‘strong and opinionated’ but also a ‘peacemaker’.

‘So what Guy does is he’ll say something b***hy and when you pull him up on it, he’ll go, “Oh no, I was only joking!” George explained.

George also isn’t surprised by Aquarian Kelly’s long-running feud with Guy.

‘Aquarians get up in the morning and sit down and go, “How can I make my life more difficult today?” he said.

The former Culture Club singer said that astrology helps him forgive his co-stars when they cause drama on set because he knows they often ‘can’t help it’ as their behaviour is written in the stars.

It's in the stars: Guy is a Scorpio, which makes him 'strong and opinionated' but also a 'peacemaker', according to the Culture Club star. 'So what Guy does is he'll say something b***hy and when you pull him up on it, he'll go, "Oh no, I was only joking,"' George added

Meanwhile, there was plenty of drama on Tuesday’s episode after contestant Soma Sutton went on a rant against the mentors when she was eliminated.

Speaking to 9Entertainment following the showdown, the 26-year-old said she was having an ’emotional day’ after being ‘convinced by a producer’ to go on the show.

‘I’m having an emotional day in general,’ Soma said.

‘It was more emotional just to take the leap of faith to come and do this anyway and be convinced by a producer to come on the show.’

She added that she ‘sacrificed a lot’ to go on The Voice.

‘It’s taken a lot to be here – a lot out of my life, a lot out of my time, and for a short journey it’s taken a lot of sacrifices,’ Soma said.

Soma concluded by saying that she will carry on doing music after the show.

On Tuesday’s show, Soma blasted the judges after her mentor, Guy Sebastian, failed to pick her in the playoff round.

Soma, who had performed the Brandy & Monica track The Boy Is Mine, complete with a rap segment, was told by Guy: ‘I feel like I’ve unlocked something that you need to work on, but you need time to work on it.

‘But I just don’t think this particular time in your life on this particular show is right for you right now.’

Looking shocked and angry, Soma snapped back: ‘Okay, well, the thing about that is that I didn’t really want to come on the show in the first place!

‘I was convinced to come here, to be here, to stand here and do this in front of you. And, like, it is disheartening.’

Angry reaction: 'Okay, well, the thing about that is that I didn't really want to come on the show in the first place!' Soma said

She continued her rant, lashing out at the judges and suggesting that their advice for her was not genuine.

‘Your advice that you guys all give, it’s like, is that genuine? I would just like to know, you know, what you really think. Do I actually have what it takes to be a musician?’ she asked.

The final insult came when Guy failed to pick Soma as his wildcard, choosing Matt Gresham instead and eliminating Soma from The Voice altogether.
